About the Founder
José Lucas Soto is a civil engineer with a strong academic background that combines sciences and engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Loyola University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tulane University. Based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he brings nearly two decades of experience in the construction industry, beginning his career in 2006.
He started his professional journey as a field engineer at Mejía Construction, where he gained hands-on experience in construction projects. Building on that foundation, he moved into entrepreneurship and founded two companies of his own: Space Innovations and Space Development. Through these firms, he has developed a value proposition centered on full-service construction with a specialization in high-end finishes. His work combines technical precision with a strong focus on quality and detail, managing projects of varying scale and complexity throughout Puerto Rico.
